Welcome to Bolton Market
Traditional values brought up to date
Bolton’s main market is located on Ashburner Street, right in the heart of the town centre.
Bolton Market’s roots trace back to 1251 when King Henry III granted the town its Market Charter. It grew to serve the local population but with its excellent reputation for quality fresh produce it now attracts visitors from across the region and beyond.
The recently redeveloped market now makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable with the addition of the new and vibrant hall offering hot food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) from around the globe.
